Formula windshield

I have a 1997 232LS. I would like to install two support bars for the windshield. I think one of the times I have to go over it to get to the forward deck, may break it. Anyone with the same problem or fear???

The windshield it supposed to flex. If you add support bars, you may break the windshield in rough water.
