They did not mention removing the drive. I will recommend removing the drive when I hear from the marina. Thanks for you suggestion.

This has happened to a few Alpha drive boats I work on. One was a 454/330hp Alpha combo , other was 350/Alpha drive combo. Both stock motors…boats had zillions of hrs if use.
Drives locked up, made you think the motor seized /locked up.
