JellyFish Joels Chesapeake Bay
#1
I know it's early but with all this bad weather I start to think about the sunshine. So to keep the boat adrenaline flowing I start thinking about the summer adventures.
I've noticed some mention of the North Chesapeake Bay. Do any of you frequent JellyFish Joel's?
I'm from VA but if tradition continues I'll put in the South River and go to Great Oaks for Memorial Weekend. Just wondered if I will see any of you.

...but we'll understand if you deny all knowledge later on.
I'll be in a totally white 382.
Visited your neck of the woods after Labor day last year. Ran from Havre de Grace, MD all the way to Virginia Beach in one go, spent a little time with BillR and the gang from Hampton Roads Powerboat Association, then spent the next week working our way back north. Man! There's a LOT of water out there!!!

Hopefully, I'll be there.
I'm not sure where exactly Havre de Grace is, what river is it on?
I've boated every part of the Bay except a stretch south of the Rappahanock River to just north of the James River, not all in one trip though.

Havre de Grace is at the Mouth of the Susquehanna. I'm actually out of Tome's Landing Marina in Port Deposit, MD, which is about as far up the Bay as you can go - 1/4 mile upstream from me is rocks and rapids.....
There a quite a few OSO members in the area - BajaBob38, Ike, RAddiction, and others.

I've been to the Northern Bay once on the East side, I believe it was Crystal Beach and if I recall correctly they mentioned Turkey Point.
I'm familiar with Great Oaks and JellyFish Joel's because my brother use to have a slip there for his sail boat, yeah I know a sail boater, but I have to admit it I enjoyed it. I would never own one though.
Now he lives in Annapolis off the South River. And now that I have a boat he spends more time on my 280SS, I'm pretty sure his girl friend likes the go fast a little better.
Hope to see ya.

I hope to see some of you at Jelly's this year. May be tough for me to get there often, however, since we have a baby girl on her way April 6th! (There will defintely be a BIG post on here when the big event comes).
Hope all of you are having a good winter!!! C'mon spring!!!!
