Well Im the new owner of a Formula. The guy is in financial trouble he wanted $22,000 I offered $17,000 I got it for $17,500 and thats Canadian or about $11,800 US. I almost pissed myself when he agreed. Thats on a 3 axle trailer, not stolen,no leins. It hasnt been in the water in 2yrs but the (shocked and pissed)mechanic at the marina told me he starts it every 6 mths. It had a survey in Oct 2001 and everything was great even had one of the cobra drives rebuilt. The only thing is the teal and magenta scrolling down a black sided hull. Well I guess what I saved on the boat I can afford new paint. Sorry for rambling but Im still pumped! I will post some pix after I buy a digital camera.....

Proud owner, finally. Have had my Magnum forever but always wanted a Formula. Made as well, but more room. Its still at the marina, will take pix tomorrow. The extra money will be used for cam swap, retro fit of trailer, beer and more beer. Also wonder if any one has tried a comp cam xe-268h12 it has been mentioned earlier in different threads but what about reversion. It will be installed on bone stock 1984 330 hp engines with Edelbrock perf manifolds. Thanx for any input..... Andy.....

Great score Andy . I'd love to see the boat. Give me an email, if the boat is not too far or you plan to boat on either Simcoe or Ontario maybe we can hook up . MIne is a 1982 302 that is newly painted white deck and hull with black hull sides. If you are thinking of paint I can put you in touch with the guy that did mine. Great job reasonably priced.
