Hey secretformula,
My 94 303 with 502's came with 23 mirage props, bravo drives with 1:36 gears. Are your gears 1:50's? Just wondering if I need more pitch or not. Have'nt had my boat long enough to test my top end, only once did I go for top speed last year and it was a VERY HOT AND HUMID day, about 99 degrees and 95% humidity.
She ran 72 on gps but I think its got more. Opinions?

HI Toolman, Yes mine has 1.5 gears and came with 23 mirages but would hit the rev-limiters way too quick. I have a set of 27 Hills and 27 mirages both 3 blade and the mirages work best. Its good to here from other 303 owners, for a while I thought I was the only one. My boat came with spacers in the K planes that limited the up travel I removed them and it freed up the boat a lot.

Hi secretformula,
27's sound like too much prop for mine. I would love to try a pair of 25's (anyone have some lying around?) I'll have to check for K-plane spacers, but I think my planes are up high enough.
