As I recall my conversation with TAG, they said the 336 is a 311 with a molded platform. The hullsides (freeboard) are a little higher and the decking is different, a bit higher. This accounted for the weight difference. Other than that, it's the same boat.

My Yukon hs the 8.1 (496), 373 gears and it does very well. Now, it is at it's rated max for sure but it does tow very well, no lack of power. Towing I get 8-10 mpg depending on hills. Everyday average is about 11 mpg. Interstate cruising (no trailer) at about 68 mph, I get 15 to 15.5 mpg. I'm very happy with it, it's an '04 and only has 40k on it. I don't use it as a daily driver.

Well, that's very interesting. I also called Formula (TAG) when I bought my used Eagle trailer. The trailer was made for a 336. I called, told them I wanted to put my 311 on an Eagle made for a 336. They said it's the exact same hull (as far as the running surface) and that it would sit right on it perfectly. They were right, sits perfect, trails perfect. Here's a picture:
I dont think there is a better trailer made ....I wish I could have kept the Eagle trailer that came with my 311...pulled smooth as silk ........m
