Any 272 owners with 500hp's
Any one running 272 with twin 500hp's or similar setup with 500 or so horsepower? If so what have been the results re handling and top speed?
What do you think the value of nice a 1990 292 with late model 500hp's and XR drives would be?

Can you say 540s? I put these in my 272 last spring. They never ran right and I didn't want to give up prime summer weather to fix them. Well they're back at the builders now for diagnosis
. Long story short , 77 mph gps. These should and will have me in the mid 80s next season

How much HP the 540's set to deliver? Standard Bravo's?
Can you give me some idea as to what the upgrade project cost - can send a pm. I am going to look at a 1990 272 with 7.4's and Bravo's. Trying to get some idea what I'd have in an upgrade to get the boat to mid-70's.
