Hey Shameless, I'm thinking about getting a little sister for my 292 as well! Is that a Champion? What year? You know the 292 is not great for skiing and tubing, so I'm considering a small fish & ski for playing around. Washington is right on the Missouri River (not the river for our 292...) Plus, in a few years my daughter will be 14 (legal boat driving age in MO), and I would like to have something for her. She's already passed the state written test and has her license!

Hi Shameless
I have to say it againn, you have one of the nicest performance boats out there. Clean and sharp, my
dream boat, size is perfect. Only thing is that in my
country the gaz price are now usd 6,6 each gallon,
twin instalations are kind of expensive. We also have
a special horse power tax 20 usd each hp. For your
boat 640 hp should be usd 12400
So I better keep my old 242 ss 454 330 hp at least
through this hard financial times.
Here is small live presentation of my boat and family he he

My little boat is a 1985 Checkmate with a 115 Evinrude on the back. It is only a 16, and with the pad, can be a harsh ride on the river, but it is a BLAST to drive. Saturday, I am hanging a hydraulic jackplate ont he back and adding hydraulic steering too. Over the winter, i will do new gauges, new cleats, stereo, nose cone, ect... You can find these older boats pretty cheap and if you look hard, you can find one in as great shape as mine!!! I am so happy I did it, plus, even with the OLD outboard on it, it uses a FRACTION of the fuel the Formula does. Plus, I can idle the checkmate back inbetween the islands where the Formula would never be able to go! That pic I posted of the Mate, the water is only calf deep!!!!

They have had no luck finding my boat yet. I was hopeing that anyone in the west side (HUDSON FL AREA) might help and see if there are any 302 sr-1 boats hanging around with kaamas on the back. The cops waited way to long to list it stolen Gave the thieves about 6 weeks to strip her. It looks like all my work has gone to the thieves. Thanks for all the help CUDA.
