Except for the color looks like "Synergy", my first boat, an 85 242 LS with twin small blocks. Somewhere earlier in this thread is a photo of that boat. I'll try to find it and scan it again, as that picture was on my old computer.

In April/May of 95, my ex wife and I took a 1200 mile trip around Florida on her. Started in Sarasota, went north to Crystal River, then south to Marco Island planning on running to Key West, but it was too rough. Went back up to Ft. Myers, and went across the Okechobee Waterway to the East Coast, down to Miami and then Key West. Went with a group to the Bahamas, came back with the group, back across the Okechobee Waterway, then back to Sarasota. Took about six weeks to do the trip.

Favorite spots were Sanibel Island and Grandma Dot's, the Okechoebee Waterway which was just spectacular,.

The absolute worst was the Intracoastal on the East Coast. With those concrete seawalls and those azzholes in their 55 ft. Sport Fisherman, traveling four at a time, just plowing water as hard as they could throwing five foot wakes. And with those concrete seawalls they wakes just keep bounching back and forth. It just sucked.

Then in Lauderdale there was like maybe a 50 ft. 30's vintage old wooden cruiser, in beautiful shape, with all kinds of stuffed animals, (real like deer, bear, etc) all wearing life preservers. It was hilarious. Somewhere I've got some pix of that and I'll try to find them and post. You have to see it to believe it.
