Hey Sam ~ Boat looks great! I'm chomping at the bit too!

BTW What happened to that fuschia speedo you had last summer??? It matched your boat MUCH better than the trunks that you're wearing in that picture! :lolhit:

Doesn't look good right now that we'll get out during March like we did last year! Remember we had four days in a row in the 80's AND no icebergs to dodge either!

Here's a pic of you, me and Captain Ron floating down the mighty Niagara on my boat March 20th... :drink::drink::drink:

I see you're running a 353 too and with 525s nice, I got out of the rat race real early (50) and decided it was stupid to stay in the Midwest (LOTO) over the Winters, so we bought a place down here, moved down late last year and simply love it, the weather is unbelievable.

Hope you get your chance to get down here soon, if not for good, at least to visit, if you're ever down our way and feel the need for a boat ride you're welcome to hop on.

Here's another helo shot from Jayboat during the FMO New Years Day run to Marco Island.

Like I said, You're living my dream! Beautiful set-up there for your FasTech! Fort Myers Offshore is a really active club... Everytime I turn around you guys are living large and doing another Fun Run! NICE! :drink:

Thanks for the generous offer for the boat ride! I will definitely take you up on that someday... I have a couple of condos that I rent out in your area there and when I can afford to retire, I'll be living in the one in Cape Coral. It's right on the Mistrel Canal, a couple hundred yards from the Caloosahatchee River. I have a dock there, but no lift or canopy like you have... I think I'll need an all-white boat too! :ernaehrung004:

In the process of some major TLC upgrades this winter but can't wait to have her back out on the water next month.

looking good!

Got a 353 end of last year and we are loving it, hit 80 on the GPS last week and I am wondering what others are running in their 353's with 525's and what trim and props are you running. I had it at 6 on the trim and 0 tab with 5 blades at 28p and it is running 5100rpm's with a full tank of gas.
I am coming from a 05 271 Formula bought new in 07 so this3 53 is the first boat with twin screws loving it so far.

The 271 is for sale if anyone knows of someone looking for one.

Hi all!
I bought my Formula 311 sr1 one year ago, but I wanted a more subtile, classic look without the pink/purple. What do you think?

That is bada$$! What a great way to redo that boat! Love it.

Who did all the work? Did you have it done?

I love it, Hell I might copy it to an extent.

Real teak or the fake teak?

Very Tastefully done. I like the warmth of the neutral colors and wood accents. Gives me some ideas to develop mine.

What did you do in the cabin and galley?

WOW! Great originality and an awesome job of taking one of Formula's best all-around classic boats and classing it up even more! SWEET! :Score-101010:

:party-smiley-004: Very tastefully done. It looks like it could be a tender for a mega-yacht in the Med.

I delivered the seats, panels and had the upholstery made by a pro.
My old upholstery was only one year old, in "wrong" color but they managed to remove it without damaging it, so now I have a complete set for sale.

I painted the rub rail, stripes on the sides and applied the isiteek myself.

CBlakeNS 04-17-2013 12:54 PM

Great pictures guys!

slugoslugo272 04-22-2013 12:21 PM

Great looking formula BlancoJr, the boat looks amazing. Was at the boat show this winter really like the ISITEEK looks like a great product. What was your view of the product after working with it. I just bought a formula 272 this winter thinking of installing the isiteek next year.

Good news for anyone in the Berkeley Township, NJ area. The barges started to clean up the lagoons in this area from all the garbage from Sandy.

314joey 04-22-2013 03:15 PM

New picture from last weekend, the weather held out and turned out great, running over to Cayo Costa.
