Did quite a bit of boating on Sebago with my first Formula, a 242 with twin small blocks. Took my first "seaplane" ride from there.
Miss a lot, DO NOT miss the winters.

Outlaw, Glad to see you were from Maine so you can relate to the off season
, I have been to all the places you have mentioned the state has a lot of lakes and is great for boating its just the season is to short, The lakes region has changed a lot since you have been here last.
Back 15 yrs ago performance boats were far and few between and the larger ones were in the 24-28 ft range, Now there is everything from 24-42 ft and big power ranging from 350-1200 hp, it has got to the point that we are having noise restriction issues with the Maine Warden Service, We have some Jacka@@ that is from out of state and wants to try to make the lake his version of "On Golden Pond" and has donated money to the state to provide the wardens with decibal meters.
We are aloud 90 db 4 ft back and 4 ft up so my winter project is going with the GGb Extreme Transom mount mufflers to keep him off my back, If you ever make it up this way stop in at Naples Marina we can toss a couple back and take a ride, Jeff

I will be up that way and certainly hook up. Audiofn (Jon) is building a house in your area. If things go well this year, this fall I'm trailering Outlaw up to run around. Have to see how the summer plays out. I really enjoyed running up at Moosehead.
One of the most striking boating "memories" is pulling into Southweat Harbor or Northeast Harbor on Mt. Desert Island at the peak of foilage season. Just beautiful. Wish I had some pix.
