I was hanging out on Lake Travis when this new 353 pulled up and parked. Man, do I have new boat fever now!

I think he is refering to the Storm graphics 353 in the background. But the 357 is also beautiful

Yes sorry for not being clear. Mine is the Red '85 357. The Storm Graphics '04 353 parked next to me and man did it make me drool.

Several observations:

I like the storm graphics a lot better up close than at a distance. The finish on the 353 is awesome.

The 353 was larger than I expected. It was nearly as big as my 357. So, for some reason the 353s look smaller than they actually are. At least to me.

I tied up to a Baja .38 special the day before and my 357 (with swim platform) was as long as the .38 special, maybe longer.

Here are a couple more pics of my 357 sitting next to the 353.

Also, thanks for the compliments on my 357. She's far from perfect but she's a great boat. I always loved the looks of the old 357. But, I think I am going to sell or trade her soon.

Here is the dat before with my 357 tied to a Baja .38 Special. I was surprised to see my bow sticking out beyond the 38's.

Here are a couple more. The rear of the boats were tied up about equally. So, is the 357 long or the 38 short? Things that make you go hmmm. You can also see that the 42 Fountain on the other side of the Baja stuck out significantly further.

Traded up this season from my 292...purchased Formula's 382 Sirius satellite radio promotional boat after it completed it's national trailer tour. It is an unused factory-prepared F2 race boat with a kevlar hull. I am using it for pleasure on the Chesapeake Bay.
