Fridge removal
Contemplating going down to the boat this weekend. Would like to pull the fridge and remove dead amp. Is the fridge a ***** to get out? What- other than my standard tool kit of a dead-blow hammer and a chisel -do I need? Oh yeah- 1989 311 sr1.

Screwgun and wire cutters should do it. The fridge door will have to come off if you want to get it out of the cabin though. Just more screws to deal with. I took my fridge out of my '87 311 in about 15 minutes.

There are two phillips-head screws on each (R/L) side of the fridge. Take the black plastic plugs out to expose the screws, then slide it out toward you. The +/- feeds can be cut (make sure all power is off) and disconnects can be crimped back on for easy removal next time. Unplug the 110v and slide her out. Badda-boom, badda-bing. Done in under 5 minutes!
