Default 1992 303 Formula 454 Mags - How Fast?

A buddy of mine is buying a 1992 303 Formula with carb 454 mags. Anyone know how fast this will run?

70-73 max. I have mags in my 91 28' Scarab and I get 73-74 on GPS IF I am alone, running on fumes, recently have had a BM, etc... BUT the mid-range is awesome. 25" mirage props.

1993 303SR1 with labbed 25 Miarge Plus 3 blades and runs 73.4 GPS. I have 502 Mags. I think 68-70 is fair.

We just got back from our sea trial, I was shocked. It ran 71.3 mph on my gps. Air temp was about 50 degrees, no chop, 1/4 tank fuel, and 4 adults on board.

I'm not sure what props are on it, he has to find a trailer for it so he can bring it home. But it has 3 blades on it.

This photo shows the max speed of the gps from our boat ride. (I left the gps off in the car on the way home to save the max speed)

All I can say is WOW!

I have a 1994 303 with 502's. On a hot, humid day last year (95 degrees and about 99% humidity) I ran 72 on gps. I think it's good for a couple more mph in cooler weather.
BOAT IS FOR SALE!!!! 210 orig. hours on orig. motors.
