Silent Thunder Question

Oh, so that's what those were.
I took the baffle out of my first little Honda motorcycle too. As far as the water not being able to drain out fast enough, just another reason to dump that damned box, I really don't like it.

Happy to report my new bird is ROT FREE! Apparently the previous owners marine tech in Lake Tahoe thought he was servicing a Bravo series Mercruiser when in fact It’s an Alpha 1, 2nd generation 350 Mag so he neglected to use ANY gaskets, not one! Needless to say this allowed water direct access to the bilge. Replaced the gimbal, new seals, impeller etc. Now she is good to go!

No signs of any baffling system ever was in place, no place anything looks cut out, except where I cut the partitions out.
I am very careful though about coming off plane and backing up. ESPECIALLY into waves.
Besides, mine's coming off.

I looked in mine too, with a flashlight through the retangular flappers. I did not see any baffles...either. I can see the tip of the riser though
just a big empty box with the in between chamber baffles 1/2 gone.

Jump.....

I'm going to end up with an Extreme Marine unit in white......
Deb's making me put it on. She loves to dangle her feet in the water, while I "chum it" when she's not watching.
