Sans rail.
|
Formula: I am using Gellcoat.
Cuda: My rail was originally high like your older bird. Then I lowered it to look like your 302. Then to paint I took it off. As soon as it came off there were like 5 people that said it looks MUCH better with out it. As far as the handiness of it goes I guess that you loose something to grab hold of but jesus you guys can't you dock a boat with out people holding on to it :D:D:p :p Jon |
Chart that is one hell of a offer for you to fly back out this way and glass up my hull seams...... :D:D Alas I want to hit the water some time in the next century!!!!
Jon |
A buddy of mine took his rails off:rolleyes: . What a pain in the a$$ at the dock. Even caused one guy to fall in:D
|
I mostly use the rails to get the boat headed in the right direction when putting it on the trailer.
|
Jon, when you lowered yours did you just cut off the risers all the same length?
|
Maybe Jon just forgot what is was like to be on the water or dock the boat.:D
I hope to see this rig at Glh`s fun run along with Mopower`s big power. mark |

Cuda maybe I am a superior driver...;) ;) :p :p
Now you asked a question up there before you slammed me....... I think I forgot how I did it..... I just cut the uprights and dropped it lower. Jon |
Cuda,
I doubt Jon has docked a boat with surface drives (spinning out) and engines that idle at 1250 RPM, But I bet it would be fun to watch:D :D  |
