Default Need to find a 454/450+hp!

I spun a bearing in my 357Kaama last night. Wouldn't you know it! Just as summer starts. The one good thing is that it was the weaker of the two engines. The other is quite a bit stronger than the one that smoked. I am hoping to find another 454 soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Josh

hey Josh. (it's cheap rambunctious at waterfouls house again)

that sucks!!!!. I feel for you man

I have a plan. Lenny at Milennyum marine has 2 525SC's for sale with 1 year warranty.
you sell your good engine to waterfoul, who needs one. drop these two beauty's in, I'll buy your boat, and you can move to your Searay diesel.

seriously. I will give a call to 26scarab (chuck) he is good friends with Lenny, Maybe Lenny (St. Clair area) has something for you. building boat motors with warranty is his business.

hope to take the boat and family to torch again this summer

Waterfoul--(aka)Rambuncious

Hey Rob

I'm sure glad this happened to me and not to someone else who purchased the boat.
I would love nothing more than to install a couple of 540's into this resinbucket but that isn't feasible this summer. I will have to settle for a strong 454. On a good note just by doing this I will pick up some performance because that motor has never been quite as strong as the other. The good motor only had 5 hours on it when I bought the boat and it runs awesome.

Thanks for the lied. I will call Lenny and see what he has to say. I can pick up a 454/420 from 1800runsnew. He has one on the shelf. Just exploring my options before making a decision on Monday.

I will have her running in no time and you will have come up to Torch for the weekend. They just put new piers in at Torch River Marine with approx 40 more slips.

Thanks again

Josh

Rob
This week, I'm hoping. I have been really busy at work. It is ready to drop in just trying to find the time. It has been really crapy weather here. I thinks the warmest day we have had was 67. On the plus side it stays nice and clean sitting in the garage. I just have to turn on the stereo and have a cold one every so often.

I will pm ofshore today. He is looking for a good place to launch his rig on Torch. He said he knew of you. It is supposed to be a really nice weekend that would be nice for the fourth.

See ya
Josh
