1000 Islands Formula Cruise

That's a big "For Sure" on the hoppers!!
Just in case you didn't notice...that's not at Hutchinson's boat house. The boat is still in Kentucky with hopes to have it here in time for the Cruise. I like the radar arch as well (must be a cruiser behind it) ha ha.
I'm not in charge of the departure time, I think Ripem is. I'm sure he'll chime in to let us all know.
BTW Third, the "little guy" is a friend of ours at Hutchinson's who's been breaking our balls about Formulas. When you meet him you will know why he's the little guy. Don't take that any further....yet.
We'd like to join you for dinner and a cocktail Friday night if that's alright? Maybe we can all gather for dinner and drinks? That'd be cool as well. I can fire up the Machine the night before. (like I don't do that already!)
All for now,
Dave

It's Sat. morning...RaggedEdge and I are getting our chit together here at my place, looking to hit the road. Lake Cumberland here we come!
Should be outta here within the hour or so. Piling in the D-Maxer looking to do the 14 hours down in 12 hours.
Should be back Monday afternoon, I haven't towed my 353 with this truck yet...we're gonna break it in towing the Fountain the 1000 miles back here. All this so Peter can go on our run with a non-Formula.

Formula 400 SS, isn't that what was stuck in the channel accross from Abay last week? I helped dock a 382 in Oswego the night of the fireworks but I thought he was from Fair Haven. I found a little history on the Formula Bird, turns out it was actually an enraged Flamingo when he got his first look at the Palm Beach graphics package. Third, save your bird sticker, Axa's missin' a wing on one side. Rip, you'll be proud to know that I am backin' up like a pro, thanks for the help. That reminds me I need to pick up more fenders and covers this week. (yes, it appears we'll all have covers now)

Well...the trailer didn't shake before that tire blew apart at 2 a.m.
Home safely, but not without incident. 1923 miles round trip. Drove both ways straight, only fuel and trailer maintenence stops. The D-Max performed excellent. Looking forward to Saturday!!!
BTW RaggedEdge...those fiberglass fender prices are kinda scary, might have to continue to go with the duct tape!

We should swap some cell numbers so we can coordinate up there, don't you think. We do it via PM so they're not braoadcast all over the net.

Well, my weekend plans are in extreme jeopardy. The nuclear plant where I work is shutting down as of right now (5:30 pm) for some unplanned and unwelcome repairs. When we shut down, it's a big deal. Lots of revenue is lost and we need to get back on line ASAP. So,,,,,,,, that means a lot of us who work here will be supporting this outage,,,,,,,, including me.
If we do not get our immediate problem fixed by 05:00 (that's 5 in the morning for you non-military types), we will be off-line for approximately 5 days to do this repair and other nice-to-do stuff. So, I'm pretty much screwed for the upcoming weekend.
Now, all you non-nukers out there, don't get your panties all bunched up. We're not melting down, we're not blowing up, we're not irradiating the environment. We have a very restrictive operating license (as all nuke plants do and should). We fix even the most insignificant of problems around here or we don't run.
This place makes my personal planning very difficult at times but, it pays me well
. So, have a few for me and we'll hook up some other time.

Third, Will the really hot water get to the St Lawrence by the weekend? We didn't know you were a Homer Simpson nuke control room guy. You can be sure I'll be drivin' a little quicker by the stack knowin' you're in the office. It does suck that you won't be able to make it. Check your calendar for the 26th - 29th, the North East Donzi Club has a 4 day event at the Edgewood and we don't discriminate. And Donzi has thongs
