He did say he has had other lookers but the were young guys who didn't have the money handy , they had to get financing and that was the last he saw of them. My buddy is taking money with us.

But one other thought. When I was looking for a 242, bank would only finance the book value of the boat...book is probably quite a bit less than the asking price...so unless the buyer has the cash to cover the gap financing would be tough. Not sure if banks use NADA or BUC or both.

Books did range from 17K to 23k.....asking price was 28.5 I beleive, We got back @ 2 am this morning with the boat in tow ( never made it there last weekend). Pics to follow...gatta get some breakfast right now

An absolutely pristine one sold here last year for 25k with 300 hours and a freshly rebuilt 502 bowtie block to Hp500+ specs. Nice boats.

Weekend doesn't look real good
but he has to work anyway). He's hoping for one day next week. We sea trialed in on a VERY wind Lake Ontario yesterday which was somewhat limited due to the conditions.
