Sorry for the slow reply. Haven't been on fotr a while. Doc Evans is probably right. The guy's name was Roy Evans I think. I don't know him.

BTW I already did buy a 357 a year ago or else I would be all over this one. I think it's an awesome deal for anyone not afraid to turn some wrenches.

great guy. i have spoke with him personally, he is a medical doctor. He "inherited" the boat in an investment gone bad deal for him. wants a good home for it and found THE FORUM to do that here. he has significantly lowered his price, to try to recover some of his investment and move on. the boat did run last summer. see his posts. he says 502's but who knows, they may be original kaama package.?
for someone like audiofn or too old who do projects, i think this thing could be sweet !!!!!. maybe not to make a million once complete ( as 357 pricing continues to fall) but do some work on a rare boat bought for a song and have a sweet classic ride.

I just got too many pots on the fire and am now looking for a 90's turn key low hrs boat.

I know, Doc has aimed at no less than 20 boats ( both the Formula and The Scarab we have) over the last couple of years and hasn't pulled the trigger on any of them.

I havent heard anyone say what they are asking for the boat, are there any other pictures, and where is it located.

$25k with the trailer is what he told me. I didn't think it had ran for several years though. Not sure where it is located but I think it was a 601 are code. I am out of town and will be for a week or so and don't have the number with me. Perhaps someone else would be good enough to post it if you're interested.

do a serch and read dorights posts and you will find out details of the boat. the pic i posted is the only one. doright has some more pics in his threads, but they were an older survey and may not represent exactly what condition the boat is in now.

he had it running at 5200 rpm last summer !!!!
