Duh....I had cruisers for 10 years and all (7 boats) were insured through BoatUS. GREAT claims service and good prices. They won't insure go-fasts, but will likely do a 330.

The guy that I bought my 311 from was an adjuster for boat US and I was very impressed with their service as well. had to get towed in w/ my donzi a couple times--- that really sucked. Had a waterman on the bay tow me in once, said he was happy that his dirty ol boat towed my nice pretty one in,:( I had to chuckle and gave him some cash for his generosity.

I am in Florida too, and yes the new insurance rates blow chunks. I just got new insurance for my 87 Formula 311 and I don't like to even think about what I paid. I just moved from Mass., and it is more than double here.

The best I found was from State Farm, so you may want to call them for a quote. I tried all the above listed names and then some. State Farm was the lowest price I could get. After all the hurricane damage here, it's hard enough to find insurance, let alone "go-fast" insurance.
