You can run whatever you want at all the poker runs that I've been on. This guy always runs our club poker runs in this 45 Excalibur, and when we reach our final stop, his boat is the number one party spot.

Far as I'm concerned absolutely. I have participated in probably seven or maybe eight poker runs, personally produced one, and have had different styles of boats in them.
Remember with the exception of the PRA Poker Runs, most poker runs will have one group that will always be at the head of the pack, the ones with the hot equipment. Then you will have another group who just don't have the power to run with that first group and they will run together. Then usually there's a third group, boats like the 330 SS you're looking at, Center Consoles, etc. that will run together.
In all the runs I've been involved with, the biggest group is the group running around 50/55 MPH. For every boat out there that will run 90 plus, there are ten boats that run 75. And not many of us are going to run our boats WOT for miles and miles on end. At least I won't and I don't know many that do. The ones that do usually end up limping home on one motor or worse, being towed.
I wouldn't hesitate for a second to run that boat in a Poker Run, and proudly, it's a Beautiful Boat.

I've run a 330 SS in OSO's LOTO Big Dick's run one of the many times my boat was sick. (Not an actual poker run, but similar) It was not as much fun as doing it in a SR1, and they are wider and have less deadrise than most gofasts, so the ride in the slop is rougher, but sure they can hang with the 50mph crowd (depending on power) and it's a GREAT boat. Inless you want a pure sport boat, you'll love the 330 SunSport for all around livability. As Cuda said, they are better than any sport boat when you stop running.

Ran in the RPBA in Va this summer. Several 22-24 "performance" boats and a 25 chapparal and a Formula 280 SS. These guys were at the end of the pack obviously, but once they got there they had just as much fun as the rest of us.

Only if you like having all the chicks on your boat at the end, filling up your chitter...... Of course you can always demand payment for that
