Default Interior redo color schemes?

I have a 93 271, it has the (I think) Malibu Accent, still its pink and teal! I am having my sunpad, rear seat redone. The trim shop guys idea was keep it all white? I am not redoing the bolsters at this point, maybe a year or two from now? I had the thought to remove the pink strips and maybe add darker blue, maybe even paint over the strips on the hull and deck? How do you think the all white would look? I did search the past posts on this and haven't come up with much other than the pink must go!
My water soaked (soaked wood too) sunpad, headrests and seat bottom, honestly have to weigh close to 350 lb and I havent even removed the seat back yet

My sunpad and rear seat are in my garage and I'm planning to refinish them for next summer. I was thinking all white but I'm just not sure other than the black has got to go - too hot. It took four of us to lift the sunpad off the back of the boat; it probably does weigh 350 pountds.

CMG - Did I see somewhere you went with an all white sunpad? Some pix would really help !!!

I re-did mine and made the forward part of the sunpad yellow with rest white just to break up the white somewhat. Also did away with the "headrest" kind of things in forward part of sunpad.
Did the same color scheme for the bolsters.

I wish I had used a new foam that's available that sheds water when I redid the sunpad--it would have reduced the weight significantly. Would have also used starboard instead of wood for it to avoid the problems of plywood swelling and rotting and seperating. The previous owner did that with the rear cocpkit seat--it made a nice seat that's going to last forever and that is totally maintenance free with no wood.

Attached a picture that's not very good but gives a likeness anyway.

I was hoping this thread was going to give some ideas about cabin interior redo---if anyone has pictures of that project I'd like some pictures of that also.

My SR357 has the "classic" Formula maroon velour and greay walls and greay carpet. I'm looking for ideas on some upgraded wall (bulkhead) coverings--both the fabric and the Formula wood, mirrors, countertops, "mood lighting"-- and what people have done to reupholster or even redesign the interior seats and backrests.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread--just expand it some.

I was thinking of having the Formula logo sewn in the sunpad in yellow.

A freind of mine redid the cockpit and the cabin interior on his 33 Donzi Crossbow. I couldn't find a picture of his before cabin, but it was white, red, and black. The new all white looks much better.

I ran across this site. Maybe I should have the bird embroidered instead of sewn in with vinyl. Opinions?

I'm gonna have mine sewn in. I think the embroidery would weaken the area too much and probably leak water like a sieve. While we're on the subject-does anyone have a good quality copy of the Formula Bird? I am going to need something to give my upholstery guys. I suppose worse comes to worse I'll just bring in a pic of Deb's tatoo, okay Cuda????
