Re: '05 Platinum Lazer opinion
Over the years I've had six Dobermans. Every one of them was as much of a family member as anyone. Number six, the one I have now, is named after my paternal grandmother. We are paying for that. Man, are we ever paying for that. She's the most intelligent one ever.
Tanya Pinta Jaus (only male I've owned, could never get one like him again) Karma Sadie Bernis First five were all "German" Dobermans. Bernis is the first "American", a Warlock. RD, sorry to hear of your loss. I know what it's like. Russ |

That's a good boy, good boy.
I miss my dog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, had to put Gus down a year and a half ago. He was my buddy. We ate a whole pizza together under a tree at the vet's office (well, I couldn't eat much, Gus plowed most of it down). Then, I had to take him in. I held him for about 15 minutes after it was over. Heard the brain doesn't fully go away for like five or ten minutes. One of the hardest things I've ever gone through. He was a good boy. I miss my boy. :( |

Putting my dogs down is without question THE hardest things I've EVER had to do. I'd rather cut my arm off with a handsaw but it's something that, as THEIR best friend we have to do for them. Haven't had one yet I haven't cried like a newborn baby. Just tears my heart out. And the only way to try to heal the pain, is to go out and get another one, and the circle continues. I have all my dog's ashes, and they are to go with me when I go. Russ |

I left out the part where I choked up and got all teary eyed. Pretty hard not to cry when you loose a friend, and he was a good, loyal, non-judgemental friend, always happy to see me and never not willing to run right to me when I called him. It used to drive my wife and kids nuts,,,,, they'd be petting him or laying with him or whatever and all I had to do was say "c'mere buddy" and he'd come to me. If he was sitting or laying with me though, they couldn't make him budge (unless they fought dirty with pizza crusts) :D :D |
