I saved the chrome birds when I painted my boat. I just scanned them in and can conver from jpeg to Photoshop or Illustrator for you. They didn't scan very well because there is a lot of "tapering" on all the edges and the chrome is pitted on the one side and the adhesive is partially on the other side.

Thanks, I had the same results with my birds. Sitting by my scanner right now. You can send me the files if you want, maybe better than mine. I am really wanting to replace the F-311 SR1 stickers also. Do you know what font those may be in? I will post a pic later today.

If you can, take a photo of them close up as you can with a digital cam then download to a computer file. Then you could send as an attachment with an email to any graphic's shop. Then they upload into their computer and can copy it exactly. Works great. Russ

You can still get the birds from your Formula dealer, but not the silver / black stickers. As Russ said, graphics shops are always an option. I want to do mine over too so please post what you come up with.

If the stickers are still on the boat, then take a "rubbing". Mask over them with masking tape and use a pencil/crayon or something to make an outline, then put it on paper and you have created a negative to take to a sign shop. The dimensions will be perfect.

Looks like wantsa311 had his finger in the button first. I think I have 311 SR-1 for both sides. Let me check at home and get back to you guys with exactly what I have.

Thanks every one for the suggestions.!

The stickers are not on the boat any more. I did a scan of the panel in front of the passenger seat and then did a trace of it. this is what I came up with. I have a vinyl cutter and can cut these just about any size or color. I was just being lazy :) hoping someone had the files. I am working on cleaning up a scan of the bird.

I am not a professional sign guy, but if anyone wants a "custom" set of these PM or email me and I'll see if I can get 'em in the mail [email protected]

I've got stickers to complete 311 and SR-1 for both sides. They were discontinued when I bought them years ago ... these are the last and the F-311 is actually from (4) F-31 stickers. You will need to cut the second "1" from the extra set. I'm sure I paid more, but $25 will take them. Wantsa311 has first dibs, Thirdbird is second. Post or PM your address if you want them. I can drop them in the mail as soon as I have a taker.

In any event, I thought it was a done deal, Wantsa311 was going to buy them. If the stickers are for an F-311 SR-1, I'll take 'em. $25.00 is on its way as soon as you say so.

Sorry for the confusion. You're right ... the F- stays. The same stickers were used on the F-31 model. You need to cut the "1" from the second extra set to make it F-311.

Just waiting to hear from wantsa311. If he declines, they are yours.

Yea, four (two pair) F-31 cruiser stickers (same font/appearance as the SR's), means to get two F-311's you have to cut and add a "1" from the second pair of F-31's.

That's the best I can do with it. :D

The way I figure it you could have the only F-311311 in the world. Or possibly a FF-311311. The possibilities are endless. Ya follow that or do you need Rip to translate? If ya don't get at those motors soon it ain't gonna matter much anyhow.
