Yeah the '05 doesn't have one. Would probably go for one if it stored like the 353's. Still don't think you'll get one on Cuda's unless you were able to sneak one in while he's drooling at all the eye candy at Put In!
Did you get all the work done on your boat?

I thought they were incorporating the bimini storage into the '05 382?!

Getting a lot done on mine. Engines are sitting at Sterling waiting for oil pans to arrive and get powdercoated. It will be rock and roll then.

New engine harnesses and brackets are in and set up. New Merc thermostatic remote filter blocks are in and sitting by the front door ready to go to Sterling for dyno runs. Cleaning up and re-gel coating some of my bilge compartment to clean things up a bit.

I think I'm going to put the new Livorsi billet race controls in ... they look BAD! I want to add a little balls and color to the helm. All that white just doesn't look so serious to me.

Also going to pull the Kenwood head unit and put my old Sony in ... it doesn't have that #*!%^@~ theft lock thing on it.

Sounds nice. Look forward to seeing it. Post some close up pics of the boat. You don't see a whole lot like yours.

As far as the bimini, if they changed the storage I'm not aware of it. I really like how the 353's store. If the 382 does, I would consider it. I would have to call it a 1/4 canopy, as opposed to a bimini to keep "you know who" from going balistic! :D

I've got three 35 mm Canon cameras ... A-1, AE-1, and a Z-115 point&shoot. Guess I'm just too old school. One of these days, I'm going to have to break down and get a digital camera!

Carrie Covers is sending me two samples of their cover material. One of the covers (Micro) will have a total weight of 7 pounds. This is a parachute like material. The other material (Diamond) will weigh about 22 pounds. No snaps.
Micro: $1,495.00 (Transparent color only)
Diamond; $1,295.00 (Color choices available)

Both come with storage bags.

They are sized to custom fit or somewhat generic fit?

BTW...when are you gonna post some more pics of that new ride and/or your visit to the "Deep South"? :D

Thought you'd be on your way to Alabama by now :D The covers are "custom" fit for each boat. I'm sure it's not a fit like the Formula covers, but it's much lighter weight and will work fine as a storage cover to keep ff the dust. I was hoping I could even use it for nights while docked to keep the heavy dew/bugs off the interior.

I have the 382 in the warehouse right now. I'll get some pics when the Floscan comes in. I'll get that installed and spend some time shining it up! :evilb:

Did I mention that there's an '01 382 just south of here?

It's hittin the water first chance I get! Still working on that spring break thing. My daughters have two different schedules and it's creating a little problem.
