Default 353 Sport at Miami Boat Show

What a great deal......Just over 200k retail and the boat show price was in the 180's with a bunch of options....has the same hull and futtings as the regular 353. Stock power is 496HO and you need to add mechanical indicators. Does not come with shore power or flat screen but just the basic setup... seems like a great value......

rode in the 353 at the show with 525efi's and loaded....$320k plus retail.....hit 80mph with 5 on board and 3/4 tank of gas. Great boat but I noticed that my 336 has more headroom in the cabin than the 353 and about the same as the 382 that they had in the slip next to the 353. great boats..............

Troutly - now that the liquour has finally left m bdy I remember that the sticker was around 209-210k and the boat show price was around 178k. even at that price is seems like a great deal. Sorry - I did not take any pics of the 353 interior with the tv and a/c.

Troutly,
Here is the location for the AC unit on the 353. The tv will mount on the starboard side. I will try to get some pics posted on that.

I think you're onto something there witht the quarters! What an idea. I can't believe as creative as I am I didn't think of that. Hell of a selling tool too. I believe the TV will go there too. It's probably thin enough they could come pretty close to surface mounting it. Are you thinking of giving up the 382 for a 353?

But, now that I think of it that might not be a bad place for it. Get it to vibrate a bit and it would be just like placing quarters in the bed at the rent-per-hour motel!!

I would imagine the TV would go on the starboard side wherre that 'glass' mirror is. Would make sense to hang it right there.

It would be a nice handling machine with the 525's.! I would give up the genset too if I had a place on the water to keep it. Flash??

Also, we would not need the gen-set, etc, but the shorepower A/C would be nice. Might even forgo the TV as the portable DVD player we have would work just fine.

With this in mind, a 2005 - 353 with 525's and Stellings just might be the ticket

Yeah, he obviously never spent a summer night in Florida on a boat. It is downright miserable.
