Default Floscan

Rippem,
Ordered the Floscan twinscan from Consumer Marine Electronics. The only thing they said I needed was the Meter. Comes with everything I need. He said the NAPA filters were not required and may restrict flow. (He said to check with Floscan) Also said I dob't need the air traps. It comes with the Y cable. I opted not to do the tachs. $479 plus shipping. Hopefully the existing bezels will work.

Called Floscan and they said if the filters are engine mounted I do not need the dampers. Also said the existing bezels will not work so I have to order the gauge with the SS bezel. You can't just order the bezel at a later date, it has to be installed at Floscan.

sounds good! They are cool out to FS. I called 'em a couple times back when, and e-mailed a year or so ago and got immediate, pleasant, and knowledgable responses. There's a reason, like I said on Boatfix, that they are down the street from Boeing! Aircraft quality! Randy

May go down and pick up the boat this weekend. Should have the FS in 5 business days or so. I'll let you know how it installs. Just waiting to see if the fuel filters are mounted to the engine to see if I need the dampers.
