A friendly suggestion if I may. BS'ers, crank yankers, and "knobs" in general do not last long around here.

At the same time this Forum welcomes everyone who is a "straight shooter".

We value this Forum immensely, in more ways than a non member could ever know. We also protect it. That's what makes this Forum so close knit and work as well as it does.

Vindicator,
Congrats on the purchase of your new boat. Yes your exhaust can be routed to just through the hull. It sounds like what you have is a very nice option though. You should have the ability to choose one or the other with the touch of a switch. ( Captains call exhaust ) If this is not the case, it is possible that the hydraulic (pneumatic)
cylinder may not be operating properly. We welcome questions from all boaters... Sometimes we get carried away with the kidding... Hope you get your question answered, happy boating.

Vindicator take a look and see if you actually have any electricaly actuated valves on you set up in the engine compartment. If there are no valves...there was an option from corsa where the exhaust exited through both through hull and the prop. This actually is not a bad set up, should be quieter than just muffled exhaust with less back pressure.

The exhaust does not actually go through the prop either, if you look in the bell housing rather than exhaust bellows connecting the drive and the bell housing there should either be a tube or nothing at all.

if you would want to change the set up it would require that you pull the motors, remove the Y pipe and install a exhaust block off plate.

hope this helps

We already went through all this on the thread that he started stating that he just bought a 35 Fountain with the same exhaust problem.

His next thread will be asking the Donzi guys why his new 35ZR exhaust goes out the transom and the prop.

Now I understand why every one was jumping all over him.
