Well, since we're crying about unexpected bills, especially concerning broken boats............... Took my heads for reconditioning. Three out four are cracked across the valve seats.
Getting pricing on reconditioned replacements, $800.00 each. Ouch, not something I was planning for.

Been down that road too. About eight years ago out of the blue some collection agency calls and says I owe fourteen thousand dollars for something I never heard of. Three weeks later I proved it wasn't my bill. Three months later I get another collection agency trying to collect the same bill. I send them all the info from the first time. Four months later I get another collection agency trying to collect this BS bill. This time I tell the guy to phuyck off and die I wasn't wasting anymore time. To date at least a dozen different collection agencies have tried this scheme and now I just laugh at them and tell them "boy did you waste your money" and hang up. It's now been about, oh maybe two years since I've heard from anyone. Now that I said it out loud I'll be getting another call probably tonight.

I finally had to threaten to sue the three Credit Reporting Agencies, along with the help of the Social Security Administration who documented my ID Theft issue, and finally got it taken off my reports. Only took almost six years.....

That SOB got fired and last I heard went out to the midwest somewhere. Funny how they wouldn't tell me where.

Other motor rock solid. So now I get to replace the water pump. Luckily only about $135.00 or so for an aftermarket. The "Gusman" is on the job.
I can put it in myself with no problem. I just wonder how long everybody else goes without something else screwing up??????
It's always something......

Well another plus about it is that even though you are breaking stuff and spending money out of the wallet etc, atleast you are upgrading the boat!!!!

You see any blue smoke coming out of the ehaust at all????
Any excess blowby at the carb from the valve cover vent????
Any oil in the bilge?????
Damn Mike that sucks.....
I went a little over on my last oil change, 64 hours, and both motors were dead on the full line. Now that I opened my mouth on that subject I'm sure I'll blow one up now.
