If only I got sick pay. :(

The last time I had any sick pay was back in internship in 1987. It snowed about 12" one night. I called our secretary in the morning and told her I wasn't feeling too well and I thought maybe it was a case of the "Alpine Flu". She laughed and said "so you're going skiing, huh?" And, yes, I did!

Is this a day trip or are you overnighting?

If you're coming to Toledo, I will have to let the guys at the marina know. There is a lot of debris that collects on the ramp they would need to take care of. If you're still in the area after 8 P.M., I could definately meet you for drinks and check out "the Pair" afterwork. I'm off on Thursday ... maybe I can trade someone! :D

Weather forecast just said 66 Tuesday, 70 Wed and 58 on Thursday. I know my schedule will work for Wednesday, not so good Thursday. I can make it a late one Wednesday if the weather stays promising. I'll buy you a beer if it works out. (260)410-5491 cell if you get thirsty call me! I'll probably be headed back to FW after that so I'll have to limit my intake. :drink: Really looking forward to comparing the 525's to the 500's I had, as well as the seeing what the deletion of the Silent Thunder is like. If you find out anything on the ramps let me know if you can.

I meant to ask you, do you work at one of the Toledo Hospitals? My brother sells heart stents to the docs out there and goes there 2-3 times a week from FW.

I work part time at St. Luke's E.R. at the Rt. 24 and 23 North interchange and also Flower Hosp off 23 North. Schedule is heavy this month by design to pay for boat upgrades and building expansion while the weather is crappy, lighter during summer months.

My motors are going on the dyno at Sterling sometime this week, lots of other little projects to finish before re-install.

Would love to catch up with you if you come this way. I'll call the marina tomarrow to check about ramp conditions and get back to you.

If you do come this way and I can't trade, I'll try to find someone who knows the water here to get you around.

Do you have a GPS plotter? If you run the Toledo channel out to say P.I.B., you need to stay in the middle of the channel until after the tall radar pin. There are places along the channel 4-5 miles out that are only 2-3 feet deep!
