Splashed my 336 for the first time last Friday...

We managed to get the boat moved from TN last week to LOTO, and got it in the water early Friday morning. The weather wasn't real cooperative...I don't think it got out of the 40's the whole weekend. I was determined to run the boat, and so were a few other brave souls, so we'd bundle up, run it for 30 minutes or so and then head back to the house to warm up.
I couldn't be happier with the choice of the boat. It's a little faster when there's some chop and I was seeing 72-73 on the GPS, which is a couple mph faster than the sea trial on smooth water. It rides great, looks terrific, and it's amazing how quickly you can get to places cruising at 55-60 (compared to the 30-35 cruise we're used to).
The weekend was a whirlwind of activity, as I had to modify the dock to lengthen the slip, and the hoist installers were there at the same time trying to get the lift installed. Unfortunately, they brought the wrong lift
so I had to store the boat offsite until they can get the correct one out there and installed (supposed to be today).
Looks like I'll be down this weekend again....

And another couple of things I really like about this boat are the windshield & powered footrests...lower the footrests and you can get out of the wind which is essential when it's 40 outside....the Cig owners will be all over this....

The power footrests are cool, except mine crapped out on me. Of course not level with the cockpit floor, so it's one of those spring projects.
If you liked it last Friday, you're going to love it when the lake gets really churned up.
