Default New Fountain owner hello to the Family

Hello to all out there I got rid of my Baja ( sorry for saying the "B" word) and fianlly got a real boat. Pier 57 got me a great deal on a 2000 29 Fever W/525SC. I was fed up with Baja's phrase of Speed changes you and I never saw a Baja that impressed me or even passed me when I rode in other boats. It shoud be the "re-sale of Baja's change you". LOL
I took a big hit on my Baja to get it gone but I am real excited to be here with you all. BTW the Pier 57 guys and owner David Woods are Great people and will stand behind their boats 110%. I boat at LOTO. Anyone with advice for a newbie Fountain owner will be appreciated.

Thanks

29.....He are a few things you didnt hear about your Baja. Your 29 is really only a 25, add 2 feet for the Beak and swim platform. Reggie's hair is really a wig. If you took off that gold chain around your neck your boat would probably pickup 2-3 mph. Their, are probably alot more, I just cant remember them right now. Bottom line Fountain makes a great boat, enjoy, have fun, practice your responses for all the Fountain haters.

I got rid of a 1998 24' Outlaw W/ a 454 Mag. Real Slug of a boat 57mph on a good day.

The enging is still in the breakin time but it was briefly up to 78 @ only 4900 that was with a 3 blade 23P. I have a 4 blade Hydro 22P. I think that will be better. The only thing Baja has is that it is a very forgiving hull. I.E. point a shoot. I drove a 29 Outlaw most of last summer at the Ozarks (very rough water) and it took the waves very good. Driving the 29 Fountain I can tell it will need a little more atttention (I can really feel the lift hull as opposed to the Baja). We'll see until the next jump in tax bracket the 35Ft. will have to wait for now.
