You will love the 42X. I had an 05 with 525's and loved it, ran great.

Liked it so much I ordered another one an 06.

Fuel won't be a problem with 525's, they are very economical and run best on the lowest octane you can find (preferrably 87 if available)

Look forward to meeting you, your new boat looks awesome, have fun on Saturday.

Did you buy a 42X or a 42PR? I know your 05 was a great boat. Thunder Run 2004 had so many Fountains entered it looked like Beak fest.

Dan,
I was going to get the poker run, but decided to get another 42X, it fits my families boating style better.

Did order it with 600's, shorties, herrings and the drop down bolsters instead of the rear bench seat.

Should be done around the 20th May, just counting down the days for boating season to begin.
