It looks like my yellow Fountain may be sold, I am considering a 42 or possibly the new 45 Poker Run boat equipped with Mercury Racing #6 outdrives and moderate power (850 HP). What does everyone think, build another V with the conventional cockpit configuration or go with the PR Edition, the only draw back I can see is you are giving up space for two additional passengers in the PR setup.

Depends on how you plan to use the boat. I liked the blue and yellow boat with the rear seat bolsters. That was a sweet boat. Any info on the new 45'?

Tons of storage but no cabin on the Poker Run boat. Ours has 600's. Came in last week. :D

Only Info I have on the 45 PR is its out of the mold, Reggie and crew are tweaking it, I have been told by a reliable source, the finishout and rigging will rival Cigarettes. The boat is designed to run 140+ with the proper power.

Hi all,
Just drove the 42 poker run last night!!!! what a ride we bought the prototype 42 pr that all the tests were done with #1 pr hull w/525s 97 with its eyes closed!!!! nothing but fast!!!

Check out the new 06 47 Fountain with 6 man bolsters at www.lakecumberlandmarine.com.

Pretty cool Fountain, twin 1075's or 850's w/ #6's and still looks like it has a cabin.

Back4More and Longshot,

Word I got in Corpus Christi, Texas from a Fountain Powerboats employee is that the new 47PR will make its debut next week in Key West, Florida for the SBI/APBA Worlds. Report is it is something new but similar to the 42 Poker Run model. Word has it, that it is FAST. Hope this helps you guys out.

Thanks for the update DPT Motorsports,

I spoke with Reggie at Gators @ PRA last October and said he had some things in the works. Look forward to seeing the new one.

On another note, this 47 is one bad machine. 6 bolsters, big power, 6's and crazy paint.

That 45 or 47 pr, looks like a bus with all those bolsters in a row. Would look alot better with 2/ 3 man bolsters and a shorter cockpit.
