Default 1st Ride

All went well. Busted the cheap cooler that is enclosed in counter. You would think Fountain would put styrofoam block underneath. One lower head door latch screw fell out.

Boat RAN great. I assume the pilot lights that beep are the rev limiters? Not sure. They are located above monster gauges.

GPS isn't working well sticks off and on.

Still have lots to learn. I think I'll keep it for now.

Then in the mailbox was 4 packages of payment books. Bummer. I hate that part but makes me work harder.

Not sure of this lad's name, he was cleaning up early next morning. I told him to turn the tunes on at 8am and the place was rockin.

Milw Ale House- Little Tommy has slip on left, other side of river.

Bethy survived well. Yelled at me a few times when them beeps would hit every now and then.

The 2 red indicator lights between the speedo and tachs are the warning lights that light in addition to the buzzers on mine.
Drive oil, oil press, and engine temp warning

Dave,
Sounds like you had fun. The boat really looks good.

Like USA said those lights use to be tied into the warning buzzers for the engines. I am not positive if they are used that way with the Smartcraft on the 525's. Didn't someone at the dealership deliver the boat to you? Fountain dealers were required to do so when I bought my boat.

yes they did, just can't remember. Big Bob got his first and I picked mine up. Pilot lights only go off when out of the water 1/2 second.

yes new boat.

That's the way it is on my 2005 with 525's. Funny thing is though that they are hooked up together so you can't distinguish between the two motors. They both light up and the buzzer comes on with any warning condition including rev limiters on either engine.

Be careful and have a blast!
