Post LOTO Shootout

Anybody see page 86 of the February issue of Hot Boat? What-in-the-hell does that guy have in that 27 Fountain to post 98-mph? That's Flying.

Blown 1100-So that WAS your boat, I read the caption but it only gave your name, not your "aka", from the pic the boat could be red and I thought "I bet thats Blown 1100's boat" congrats on being in a national magazine!! very cool....I remember I got my name in the local paper once for scoring 3 goals in one hockey game...

For those wondering it's Jim Valeko, Valeko Racing Heads, in Grand Rapids-MI. Never had him do work, but I have never heard anything but but positive comments in our area. I know he built Blue Moon, a 33 Checkmate that runs just short of 100mph. There is a cool shot in the Smoke on the Water video, unfortunate for the Fountains, of Blue Moon just giving a 32 Fever a "smack down". He pulls him in a little, then justs hits the hammer, and Bye, Bye, its cool.

Jim's 29 is also the best sounding boat I have ever heard!! And I have been to several races and shoot-out's!! I hope to one day get him to do a set of heads for me!! He is on the main messageboard from time to time.
