2003 Fountain Executioner Exhaust
I have two 496HO Mercruiser engines and i am having trouble with the exhaust coating the back of the swim platform and the exhaust pipes. I think it is running rich has anybody else had this problem? What did you do to correct it?

Run 87. I get some soot back there, not enough to bother me. Still gets clothes dirty if you don't watch out. Just kinda gets grey. Same on new 525's as the 502 carbs I had.

Merc Has A Bulliten About It To Get Updated Computers The Problem Is Called Trailering Effect The Bulliton Is Number Smc-01-16 It Is Prevelet On Molded Swim Platforms
