I have a friend with a 1988 38 fever. It has 625 Cubic inch n/a motors with all the goodies, extension boxes, #5 speedmasters, cleavers, ect. The boat is rock solid and runs 95+ all day long.

I just bought a 1991 27 Fever this spring. Was looking for a Formula but i saw the Fountain for what i thought was a good price and jumped on it. A little fiberglass work (****ty surveyor) and a new motor (some dumbass painted the inside of the oil pan) and now i'm still trying to get some decent speed out of it.

I've got my old 8.8 meter dog. She's all fresh, new power, new Konrads, panel, intruments, and interior. I love how this old boat rides and with the modern upgrades I wouldn't trade it in for anything else. I could afford to go out and buy something new but far prefer this boat to the new twin steps.
She runs fast with a pairof 675hp mils and the Konrad speedy lowers. When the water gets big and all the stepped hulls start shore hugging I can keep this old hammering away.
