My boat is in storage & I can't measure, thinking of running 4 JL's in the cockpit Waves and Wheels also came up with some dual spacers that fit great there. I had a set of them in our 42 to go over where the lights were. Justin's great at working on developing pods, poly sub boxes and install items that help save time and look and sound great. https://www.wavesandwheels.net/store...c1c02b99051078 |

I sent you the new prices, Bob just pulled 12 pairs out of a boat. It sold and the new owner didn't care for the look of 24 speakers in a 35 Outlaw. :lolhit: If you want to save a few bucks and used doesn't bother you let me know.

I like the arrangement of the sub up front. what size is it? Any major mods to get it installed? where is your amp mounted? I have a 27 Fever that needs an upgrade from stock so I am starting from scratch and trying not to drill new holes. thx

I can't say enough about JL Audio components. I have a single pair of 7.7 components, and two 10's and it cranks. Just bought another set of 7.7 coax's to mount where the emblems go. Just those few speakers out perform a lot of "huge" systems I've heard. Spend the extra money and you won't be disappointed. Furthermore, their sport grilles look really nice in our boats.

They take a little trimming but will go.

JL makes a 6.5 speaker that might be an option if you decide the 7.7 are to large. The 6.5 are a direct replacement for standard speakers.

Just hooked up a new Alpine PDX-F6 amp with 4 Polk Audio MM691 6x9's. Have them in boxes for setting out while listening at the beach. Man is that a good set-up. Very loud and clear. Have some older Polk Momo speakers and the new style MM's are awsome. They use neo magnets so they are light and easier to install. That all digital Alpine sounds better then anything I have heard. Hope it saves on the power usage.
Have a pair of Clarion 7" speakers in the logo spots and 2 down by your feet hooked to a Clarion marine amp and 2 10" subs in the back seat hooked to an AudioTek amp. JL makes good stuff. I've put a lot of power to the Polks and have been very happy with them. |
What did you buy for a flatscreen TV?
|
What size and brand sub did you mount up front? Thx, Jon
