Default 42' Fountain Lightning, How much is it worth?

A buddy of mine is going to an Estate Auction next weekend and this 42 is the main reason. What do you think it’s worth? Description reads: 1999 Fountain Lightning 42' Performance Boat. 6.4 Hours, Twin 502 Mercruiser Engines, 8 Cylinder, Orange.

Guessing....130k would be good to buy at...normal deals retail around 150k?

Others may know market better, let's see who chimers in.

Anyone know why he's gettin rid of all the toys? Sure don't think that he'll profit from sellin those newer Benz's. But there sure is a good market for the older high perf cars.

The boat? Looks pretty clean. Don't see very many in orange. If someone really wants it, it will drive the price up. Sometimes auctions bring no money, and then if 2 guys really want the same item, it ends up a bidding war. It's a gamble.
