Looked at Cigs, OL's, MTI's and Skaters. Too slow and cheaply built. Poor quality and workmanship. Chrome plated plastic hardware. Paper thin sides, can see light thur them. Dime a dozen.

Seriously, On my 2nd Fountain. 27, now a 32'. Love them both, but wish they where bigger inside. Loose a lot of actual space up front because of the beak. I see my next boat being a Cig, or a cruiser.

Ask a tall guy how far up his back he wants the seat support to go. <gg>

Sonics were designed by Jay Ross, a 6'6' fellow. Fountains were designed by, well..........

Ive looked at fountains and like a couple of the models. But I have an issue with the space you get on them. I am 6' tall and 220lbs. So I like a little room inside.

Yes I have wanted a Fountain. I will proudly admit.

We use to have one of the "BEST" Fountain dealers in the country here in Charlotte. His service alone was enough to make you want to own a Fountain. I have had more friends with Fountains over the years then any other brand.

A 42 Fountain was the first real, true performance boat I ever rode in and drove, and is still to this day one of my favorite boats. Then I have had the opportunity to drive 29's, 35's and a 38. In my opinion they are a great boat. But when it comes to actually owning one I have a hard time with the left hand throttles, and the seats just are too low and don't fit my body. Other then that no complaints at all.

As for Reggie I have had the opportunity to shake his hand twice, once at the plant in Washington, and once at a poker run. He makes you fell like he knows you. I think that is a good trait in someone.

He is kind of like Dale Earnhart, you either love him or hate him it seems, but one thing is for sure, "You Better Respect Him". He is definately a legend in is own time.
