I have owned 1 35, 3 42s, and 1 47, still own a 00 42 #6s, 1100hp Cobras,it is For Sale at Peir 57, Firmly believe that they are the best bang for the Buck! They are the fastest V out there, does the rigging have room for improvement? Yes! Want to spend a extra 100,000-200,000 go buy a OL or a Cig!all depends on what you want to spend

Your 42 used to sit right behind my slip when it was on Cumberland.
That was a very nice looking boat. Not exactly slow either They say reggie got 120 out if it before he shipped it. What kind of speed did you wind up seeing?

Just a thought. Theres a awful lot of talk here on OSO
about running open ocean, and the boats that supposodly
run all day long with nothing breaking. But I would guess
that running hard in open water for long periods of time
will break even the best of them. That said, how many
people here actually run open ocean on a regular basis?
Based on the locations in members profiles,I would think
very few. Not to say some of our inland lakes cant dish
up some pretty nasty water. The 32 Fountain I used to
own held up very well. I cant say that for every boat I've
owned. I Bought a new 35 this summer, time will tell how
well it holds up.

Me driving 116mph, Derebery driving 118mph, all depends on the water conditions , temps, air etc.
