Back4more, We bought a 06 38 from Shogren, great folks to deal with by the way, staggered 600 sci's, shorty xr's, 5 blade maximus props. With Scott driving it, we ran 94 mph. Performance report from Fountain says 94. Some may be faster, but thats what this one ran.

Are they still making the race fairings for the Lightnings? I have not seen one on a new boat in awhile.

Excuse Me Dave!!!! I felt pretty good about going the same speed as a factory test with more people and fuel. The boat would be roughly 2mph faster with Herrings but lose mid range acceleration. The 38 w/ 600's is 12mph faster in the mid range than a 525 boat. We will have a 38 at the Miami Show with the new cockpit (bolsters & dash) and painted by Mitcher T. See you at the Chicago Show & hopefully Miami.

Thanks, and congrats on the boat.
I would rather not say, as it will start a sh--t storm. Lets just say it was yellow and had big motors!!!
As for the pictures, I will post some. Scott had sent me some very good ones, somehow I deleted them. All I have are ones with it on the trailer in the yard.
