Once you get to the tank depending on which boat you have on the top of the sending unit their are 2 very small adjustment screws. One is to adjust the full level, one is to adjust the empty level. I suggest you mark them where they are at before you move anything. A very small adjustment on the screw makes a big difference in the gauge. Its very easy to end up with it worst than it is now. I think Fountain has it set about as good as it can be because of the design of the fuel tanks. Good Luck. :p :p

Concrats on your new ride yo are going to love it, would love to see a pic of her?? Just a heads up if you have 200hrs on the motor I would really suggest replacing your Valve springs ASAP, the 500hp is a great motor but this needs to be done and can save you allot of trouble later. Oh as for the gas gage, they suck, full then empty, you will learn to keep track of it, as stated before at 1/4 tank you better be going to the marina :D I ran out once, now I realy pay attention WILL :drink: |

It was snowing last year when i went out to do the sea trial on my 27. Talk about a cold ride. Then of course it was covered in snow when i got it home :(.
