:mad: Couldnt wait until spring..Just bought my first fountain before christmas. Well I had to take her out!!! The first saturday in the new year seemed to be just as good as any. It was 27 deg. that morning at 9am. With the bow covered in frost and my copilot with his ski goggles on I couldnt help but top her out at 74mph before my sack shrunk. I was extremely pleased with the power of my new toy. Cant wait until spring to try and milk a few more mph out of her...ouch do hp500's really drink that much gas?>! God im in love!!!

True boater :D :D Fountain gas gauges are know for there, shall we say , questionalble readings, they stay on full for ever when they start to move towards empty keep an eye on it, when they reach 1/4 tank, you better find a marina, quick.

Dang, I thought I was a die hard boater for going out when the temps got below 70. :p
Put a blower on it if you really want to burn some fuel.

When mine hit 1/4, the gas dock had better be in sight. I could actually watch it move. 1st time I 'learned' to pay more attention, I had 1/4-3/8 tank, 5 mins later I was flagging down someone to tow us in.

At 27degs you may not go faster in the summer... from my past experances you lose 2-4 mph in the heat of summer. But it dont hurt to try!!!

That s our only complaint so far..........the guage....very tricky.......im lookin for the dock at a half a tank, after that the guage moves as fast as the speedo. :eek:

When I sea-trialed my 32, it was early February on Lake Texoma. It was mid to low 20's, windy, and snowing. . . . 80mph into a biting wind, snowflakes felt like bb's. . . it was awesome.

My 93 was empty when at 1/4 tank. I remember someone posting here there was a way to adjust the gauges by access under white disc's.

Anyone know?
