Talking Re: First Ilmor fountain

They do perform a little better in cats! We have had a 38zr donxi also that performed about 7-8 mph better then 525's. In an eliminator cat they have seen 12-15mph gains. As far as service goes. Ilmor has Dealer classes at the factory in MI. We are a servicing dealer. The best thing is that the ilmor's are built to last along time and run harder than most bbc's and no blower. They sound like an indy car at full throttle.

So would it be safe to say twin Ilmors 625's can push a 37-39 V w/ cabin into 100+ range (obviously depending on mfg), If so now that is impressive,

WILL

Just curious, are you ordering the boat with 496's and then yanking them yourself and putting the Ilmors in?

What are you changing on the lowers to compensate for the weight loss? Adding spacers?
