has anyone cut down the taller lighning winsheild to the shorter type on the newer boats. I heard it has been done.

Yes I did, it was for sale for a while , didn't like colors, price was right so I am changing colours

Not to change topics, we have been waiting 4 months for a replacement windshield. Wish i had one to cut........oh ya i havent seen it in 4 months........sorry about the ranting...just startin to miss her a bit.......

There are a few on ebay now. You could try to practice cutting one of them down. They have been for sale for a while and are with a liquidator so I am sure some negotiating can be done.

we have a company in toledo ohio that i'm taking my 35 lighting windshield to this week he quoted me around $400 to make can u tell me how much u r paying to wait 4 months?i was quoted a week and it will be done. also have a co. in west virgina that said about same but they want to c first. toledo much closer.
