So, were the bolts that hold all the interior side panels, grab handles and seats 3" longer than needed? 1st thing I did was get in the side compartments with my SawZall and cut those gubbers down. Everything I shoved in the side compartments were getting snagged on those bolts.

I see your helm has a 'tub' under the dash. When did Fountain go to the molded in design?

Keep the pictures coming!

the studs were way to long......but most of the interior peeled off (rotten wood). as you can see the rear deck still has the screws in it. the dash is the next to go..i have all the gauges, throttles, gps and panel. red panel, chrome Bessel's, red gauge rim, and chrome billet throttles w/red knobs.

those throttles are so cool!

I have the 1st section (head rest section) of my hatch off now. It was very disappointing to see they drilled the hatch all the way thru larger than the washer size, then place a single strip of FG over the hole on top, and drill it the screw size for the sections to fasten to. A couple of mine where almost pulled thru the FG strip. Very poor thinking in my opinion. Guess that's something else I have to fix properly.

I am replacing the wood on most of the upholstery on my 27. a lot of the hardware just pulled through when i took it off. I'm just going to use some short stainless lag bolts to reattach it.
