10 meter fountain 1988 any good

600 hours is less than 35 hours per year. I guess it all depends on how well it has been maintained and if the engines and drives have been refreshed. Check to see if it has the maintenance records and definitely have it surveyed by a reputable agency. Also try to negotiate the price with items that need to be done or may have to be done in the near future. Price seems inline with asking price, but the selling price is subjective. The flat transom 33 that shockwave just sold was an excellent example and one that you could benchmark your search with.

I'd rather spend a bit more $ upfront and get a cleaner boat.
I personally like this one, and it has really low hours and has been taken care of properly.

Thanks to the great OSO mystique, I had a lot of response to my post and sold my 33 on Saturday to some really nice people.
Now, my tale of woe about my Sterlings. Why won't somebody take these awesome pair of motors off my hands?
I know they are 750hp, 12-1 dry sumps, but I would make the price good enough to change the pistons, heads, whatever you are comfortable changing for pump gas. I paid $38,000. each for these and one hasn't been run since total rebuild. I'm sure someone out there with a shop or at least can turn a wrench could use a high dollar package like this and shape them into what you want. These are complete from top to bottiom, back to front, less headers.( I have a set too).If you have a big empty spot in your bilge then these could be what you are looking for. Think Sterling-awesome parts and quality.
Thanks,Rich
This is in his other post.

I Would Spend a bit more and get the new style hull No TRS and a Boat with fewer Hrs On it.. You may spend 30 but pulling the tank is no small matter as well as refreshing the motors and drives..
